Your responsibilities will include supporting the enforcement team, conducting site visits, processing planning applications and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain the integrity of our district’s unique characteristics.

We will actively support your studies as you work towards a Level 7 qualification at university to become a chartered Town Planner as part of the apprenticeship scheme that the Council supports.

We are a friendly and welcoming organisation, who enjoy working and learning together. If you bring enthusiasm and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, we want to hear from you.  We also offer flexible and agile working arrangements, subsidised gym membership and a generous pension scheme.
