The Role: We are seeking a fully qualified Property Solicitor to join our dynamic Legal Services team. This part-time role is essential to providing comprehensive legal advice, representation, and assistance across the Council, ensuring the delivery of our Legal Team’s Service Plan and contributing to the Council’s Corporate Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice, representation, and assistance to Council Members, staff colleagues, and at public meetings when required.
- Understand and contribute to the Legal Services' role in achieving the goals set out in the Legal Team’s Service Plan and the Council’s Corporate Plan.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective legal services.
- Focus on property-related legal matters, leveraging your expertise to support various Council projects and initiatives.

About You:
- You must be a fully qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with substantial experience in property law.
- A strong communicator, capable of providing clear and effective legal advice to diverse stakeholders.
- Committed to delivering high-quality legal services and contributing to the wider objectives of the Council.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating initiative and flexibility.
