Role Overview:
As a Civil Enforcement Officer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that parking spaces in our streets and car parks are utilised fairly and safely. You'll interact with a diverse range of customers daily, deterring vehicles from parking in unsafe or unsuitable locations and providing guidance to road users when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce parking regulations to maintain fairness and safety.
- Engage with residents, visitors, and workers to promote compliance with parking rules.
- Support local communities and businesses by ensuring convenient parking options.
- Provide advice and assistance to road users regarding parking regulations.
- Collaborate with the Parking Services Manager and other team members to address challenges and improve service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working in a challenging environment, with a track record of meeting customer needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a friendly and welcoming team environment.
